Redding Rancheria is seeking a Diabetes Educator The is position provides individualized diabetes self-management education/ training to individuals and groups according to the Scope of Practice, Standards of Practice, and Standards of Professional performance for Diabetes Educators and SDPI Guidelines. Follows established policies and procedures of the medical department and community health department.
- A healthcare professional who is also a certified diabetes educator, or who is eligible to become a certified diabetes educator, BSN or higher preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience (preferably more) providing diabetes education within past year in diabetes and diabetes clinical/educational subjects
- CPR certification
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Indian preference

Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background screening clearance. All employees are required to submit to a Tuberculosis test (TB) test after they are hired in addition to being tested annually.
